The backdrop.

If its done well, you will not notice it. If there is not enough details, and looks sparse, your mind will cease to believe the authenticity of the scene.

If its too busy, it will take attention away from the actors. To strike the right balance, to be there only as a supporting capacity, to firmly anchor everything together. That is a power of a well-made set.

In the drama Reply 1988, there were many different sets. All made with great care and attention to detail.

Filled with so many nostalgic items from the 80s that the immersive experience of Reply is really excellent.

Shall we admire them together now?
